As Derrick Van Orden Returns Home For An Early Summer Break, Constituents Deserve Answers For Her Support of Project 2025 Priorities

WASHINGTON — Speaker Mike Johnson is giving Rep. Van Orden an extra long summer break with Congress recessing earlier than planned.

As Rep. Van Orden returns to Wisconsin, there are three important questions he must answer for his constituents who care about the integrity of elections, health care costs, and abortion access:

  1. Why are you voting for legislation aligned with Project 2025?

  2. Why did you vote for the so-called SAVE Act – a bill that lays the groundwork for another January 6th?

  3. Will you reject your House Republican colleagues’ effort to advance Project 2025’s policy priorities – including banning abortion, raising the cost of healthcare, and restricting the rights and freedoms of the American people?
