House Accountability War Room and Indivisible Release Social Toolkit to Combat Project 2025 Disinformation

WASHINGTON DC – Today, House Accountability War Room and Indivisible released the Citizen’s Toolkit for Fighting Project 2025. Project 2025 is a planned takeover of our government that would hand a future president unchecked power, allowing them to rollback Americans’ rights and freedoms, threaten our democracy, and hurt the middle class. With the threat of Project 2025 looming as the presidential election nears, it is critical that voters are armed with the information and resources needed to educate their family, friends, and communities about this unprecedented attack on our democracy.

“House Republicans would like you to think they have nothing to do with Project 2025 because—spoiler alert—it’s deeply unpopular. Vulnerable congressmen like Brian Fitzpatrick and Juan Ciscomani know their constituents detest this agenda. But we’re sure as hell not letting them off the hook,” said Ezra Levin, co-founder and co-executive director of Indivisible. “Every voter deserves to know exactly who’s pushing this MAGA agenda. That’s why we’re partnering with House Accountability War Room on this toolkit. We’re going to make sure every voter knows what’s on the ballot in November.”

“In order to defend American democracy against the unprecedented takeover outlined in Project 2025, every single voter must be educated on its dangers and how to best combat it,” said House Accountability War Room Spokesperson Danny Turkel. “Alongside Indivisible, we are preparing the American electorate to fight against this totalitarian playbook and stop Project 2025 policies anywhere they appear.”

The toolkit will be distributed to Indivisible members and chapters across the country, as well as House Accountability War Room partners and media organizations.
