Washington, D.C. — As former President Trump faces his unprecedented fourth indictment, MAGA Republicans, when not completely silent, continue to breathlessly defend the Big Lie and the former president’s illegal attempts to overturn the 2020 election results, confirming their commitment to an anti-democracy agenda.

“The continued defense of Donald Trump by House Republicans is appalling but, at this point, not surprising.
