WASHINGTON, D.C. —   Yesterday The New York Times uncovered that George Santos misrepresented a number of his career highlights during his time on the campaign trail. After the report, Santos tweeted his support for Kevin McCarthy’s leadership bid while also tweeting a response from his lawyer about the findings in The Times. McCarthy has yet to comment.
