New Digital Campaign Links Project 2025 to Extremist House Republicans’ Records
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, House Accountability War Room launched the next phase of its digital campaign holding House Republicans accountable for embracing the policies of Project 2025, an unprecedented and dangerous takeover by MAGA Republicans and wealthy billionaire donors that rolls back Americans’ rights and freedoms, threatens our democracy, and hurts the middle class. The three websites launched today focus on the records of Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-03), Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02), and Rep. Scott Perry (PA-10), who have each embraced Project 2025’s priorities despite attempting to distance themselves from it.
Those extreme priorities include enabling corporate tax cheats, gutting worker protections, harming labor unions, and creating a license to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people. There is clear overlap between House Republicans’ agenda and Project 2025’s priorities.
“Despite House Republicans’ attempts to distance themselves from Project 2025, our latest research shows the reality of their work: the extreme Project 2025 agenda is the House Republican agenda,” said House Accountability War Room spokesperson, Danny Turkel. “The records of these three extremist Republicans don’t lie. Now, more than ever, Americans are learning that House Republicans support this dangerous agenda to the letter. This latest microsite rollout will allow their constituents and the media to hold them accountable.”
